Insightful was formed in late 2017 with the Mission of bringing a Shepherding Mindset to assist small business owners navigate a very complex financial playing field. We guide them though all phases of the business life cycle - from Startup to Growth and Maturity, through eventual Transition.
Insightful is in a growth phase as a business, really beginning to see dividends on business referral relationships forged and client relationships nurtured over our first 5 years in business. We have plans to continue purposefully scaling - which includes adding roles, opportunities and compensation within our Team.
Our Culture
We are neither showy nor pretentious, and neither are the clients we choose to work with. The environment is fun as laughter is infectious, you can be your real, genuine weird self.
We don't believe in micromanaging, forced overtime and weekend work, or creating a general meat grinder of a work environment. You are not expected to work more than 40 hours per week, your personal and family time are valued by us, as is your health, well-being and productivity.
Many of our client engagements are year-round, not just tax preparation. This helps us balance and manage the workload throughout the year. We are committed to helping our team maintain work-life balance and prevent overload and unnecessary burnout. Hybrid office/home work and flexible hours are options increasingly after the first 12-18 months of service and familiarity with clients, processes, and staff.
We hire, retain, and promote based on character, skills and experience will be forged over time. We have ample room on our bus, but this journey isn't for everyone. You will be challenged and pushed to level yourself up personally and professionally. We do advise our clients, we are not transactional. They expect and deserve our engagement and wisdom, it's what drives our sky high client retention.
